The Downers Grove Township Republican Organization (DGTRO) will be presenting nationally renowned author, businesswoman and political figure Carly Fiorina as the keynote speaker at its second annual Reagan Day Dinner on Wednesday, October 15.
Named by Fortune as one of the most powerful women in business, Fiorina is perhaps best known for transforming Hewlett-Packard during her six years as CEO, doubling the corporation's revenue while quadrupling its growth and cash flow

Tom Cross Endorsed by Elk Grove Township Republicans

The "Republican Organization of Elk Grove Township" have released their full list of endorsements in the 2014 GOP Primaries.  We've covered how they endorsed Doug Traux for US Senate of Jim Oberwies already (read that story here), but they also endorsed a candidate for Illinois Treasurer:  Tom Cross.

Tom Cross is proud to announce that the Elk Grove Township GOP endorsed his candidacy for State Treasurer. The threshold for a vote is a high 60%, which Tom received in their meeting last week.

Treasurer's Candidate Tom Cross Picks Up Homer Township GOP Endorsement

In addition to endorsing Margo McDermed for State Representative, the Homer Township GOP backed Tom Cross, Republican for Illinois State Treasurer.

By focusing on how Tom Cross has the ability to win in the fall and a strong record of getting results in Illinois, the Homer GOP unanimously voted to endorse him for Treasurer.

The Homer Township GOP released the following statement:

Tom Cross, Republican candidate for State Treasurer received the endorsement of the HTRO with a unanimous vote of the committeemen. 

“As State Treasurer, Tom Cross will use the power of that office to help get Illinois’ budget balanced and ensure that our state is put back on solid financial footing,” said Brian Ball, Vice-Chairman of HTRO. “Tom Cross has the resources and energy it will take to win in November and he has a record of accomplishment that will contrast well against the Democratic nominee, who has spent his career voting for tax hikes and record spending.”
