Mike Frerichs Morning Routine?
We were just sent this video of Mike Frerichs - candidate for Illinois Treasurer - and included in the note from the tipster was this thought: "Mike Frerichs tries to fire himself up for another big week in the Treasurer's race."
While we can't confirm that this is, indeed, the Gaffeman himself, we can tell you that it kinda 'seems legit' to us??

Exclusive Footage Of Mike Frerichs After Losing Endorsement This Week
We were shared this footage from a voter who saw Illinois candidate for Treasurer Mike Frerichs out in Champaign after the news broke of his string of loses when it comes to endorsements in the race.

Exclusive: Mike Frerichs' Press Team Fleeing Scene After Implosion
Things were awfully quite around the interwebs yesterday when it comes to Mike Frerichs. That's because his team were busy licking their wounds from the beating they took on Wednesday afternoon.
One of our tipsters had their camera set up in Champaign and were able to catch exclusive footage of Mike Frerichs' press team RIGHT after the moment where they shot themselves in the foot with their most breathless and ridiculous response of the Treasurer's campaign to date.
Here's the footage of the press guy after getting caught doing something silly:

Statement From Mike Frerichs' Camp On Lost Giannoulias Endorsement
As seen elsewhere on the interwebs, Mike Frerichs' team is quickly moving to backpedal on the boss' comments on WCIS TV yesterday morning about fellow Democrat Alexi Giannoulias endorsing Mike's opponent Tom Cross.
We were lucky to catch some footage of the Frerichs Team last night. Check it out:

Spotted: Campaign Staff Fleeing From Mike Frerichs HQ
We were given this exclusive footage of what appears to be Mike Frerichs campaign staffers and others fleeing (on foot) from the Frerichs Campaign Headquarters.
What isn't known is whether they're fleeing due to another appearance of The Frerichs Vortex of if Mike Frerichs is unhappy because his custom campaign-logo earmuffs haven't arrived yet.
What can be confirmed is what they were saying: "Feet don't fail me now!"

5 Things Mike Frerichs Would Do "Different" If Elected Treasurer In Illinois
By now, you've undoubtably read the story about how Mike Frerichs and his campaign have stated that they'd "run the Treasurer's office differently". We pointed out how flawed that approach is and how it would have disastrous effects on Illinois taxpayers.
But...we thought there had to be more to his platform when it comes to 'different'. Fortunately, we were leaked a memo that outlined his top five priorities when it comes to 'running the Treasurer's office differently'. Why just five? We don't know. But...we wanted to share them with you.
We've pulled the top five list out of the memo to protect the identity of our mole inside the Frerichs compound down in Champaign.
Have you heard another way that Frerichs would do differently? Drop it to us in email at tipthetruthteam@gmail.com.
Top 5 Things Mike Frerichs Would Do "Differently" As Treasurer:
1. Get the letterhead changed to spell the office the way he likes to spell it: Treasures’ office.
2. At all I-Cash events, the "swag" will be custom-printed Frerichs earmuffs.
3. Friday won't be 'casual day', it will become 'sash day'.
4. No one who works in the office has to pay their property tax bills. What's good for the boss, should be good enough for the rank-and-file employees.
5. Press releases will be sent with an accompanying selfie for use on the media outlet's Facebook Wall.

More Reaction From Inside Mike Frerichs' Inner Circle To The Downward Trajectory Of Their Campaign
We were just shared this footage of the campaign manager for Mike Frerichs. It is his reaction to getting the 'double whammy' of seeing Democrats abandon the sinking campaign like rats off a drowning boat coupled with Rich Miller over at Capitol Fax's coverage and comments about Frerichs' opponent Tom Cross polling very strong in Chicago and with independent voters and what that means for Mike Freichs' ability to win in November (hint...if the polling numbers stay true,he's going to lose.)
Check out the Frerichs campaign manager's reaction to the terrible day they're having down in Champaign today:
We have to say that we can't blame him. We'd 'hate everything' too if all we were seeing was negative stuff about his candidate.

More Exclusive Footage of Democrats Abandoning Sinking Frerichs' Campaign
This just came across the wire here at the Illinois Truth Team.
We believe this to be true footage of Senate President John Cullerton abandoning ship at the Mike Frerichs for Illinois Treasurer campaign. He signs off in his own unique way because he doesn't want to be caught holding the bag for a loser in November.
We can't confirm nor deny that this is actually Senate President John Cullerton. But we're following up and will report more.

Exclusive Footage: Democrats Fleeing From Mike Frerichs' Campaign
We were just shared this exclusive eyewitness footage of Illinois Democrats moving as fast as they can to distance themselves from Mike Frerichs and his campaign for Illinois Treasurer. First, it was Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner. Then...former State Treasurer Democrat Alexi Giannoulias 'stood tall' and endorsed Frerichs' opponent Tom Cross.
Check out what is happening at Frerichs HQ as Democrats try as hard as they can to get away from the Mike Frerichs Vortex (which...we think you can see in the back shrouded in smoke!)
We hear from the eyewitness that this footage was shot inside the Campaign office down in Champaign. (You remember that one, right? It is the office that Mike Frerichs failed to pay property taxes on for seven years?!?!)

That Sinking Feeling: The Mike Frerichs Campaign Story
The Titanic is a really neatly packaged metaphor for the Mike Frerichs for State Treasurer campaign.
Sure...Mike's campaign is flush with cash. Just like the Titanic was the most stately vessel that had ever set sail across the Atlantic.
But...due to their own fault (Mike Frerichs' continued mistakes and failure to even bother to pay his property taxes. And...the Titanic's problem of running right into an iceberg), they're both sinking.
The latest evidence? Democrats - in droves - are jumping off the Frerichs 'ship'. It's already run aground when Mike failed to pay his property taxes and was ensconced in an patronage scandal and railed against investing in Israel.
But...now? People are jumping left and right off the boat trying to save their lives from the Frerichs vortex. That's what appears after the ship goes down totally: it sucks everything down with it.
That's why Mayor Tom Weisner abandoned Mike Frerichs. And that's why former Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias 'stood tall' with Tom Cross and not his party's nominee: Tax Hike Mike.

Leaked Footage: Mike Frerichs' Campaign Team Driving In This AM
We thought it was only in Russia that people have 'dash cams', but apparently some folks on the Mike Frerichs for State Treasurer campaign have them too.
But...the odd thing about them? Normally...you point the camera out over the hood of the car to capture what is happening in front of you.
But...the Frerichs team? Nope. As we all know, they adore the selfie. And they post dozens of them to Facebook. So...they have their 'dash cam' facing inward.
Unfortunately for them, the camera captured the very moment they heard via phone what had happened with their latest press release: it was a disaster. And they're on their way into the office to hear all about it. All. Day. Long.

"Oops, I Did It Again", The Mike Frerichs Campaign Saga
You should have seen the high-fives being tossed around in Champaign yesterday afternoon. The Mike Frerichs campaign team were hootin' and hollerin' about the 'slam' they got in on their opponent Tom Cross.
They even went out for a basket of onion rings at TGIFriday's over on Neil Street. They drank water (of course) because they're trying to hit home the whole minimum wage thing, right?
Then...terror struck this morning. They had failed to even cite the right source for their release. They confused Rick Pearson with Steve Cochran on WGN.
The latest in a long string of bumbling errors is perhaps the most telling: right when the lights are shining the brightest and voters are starting to pay attention to the fall campaigns, the Frerichs campaign does what they do best: stub their own toe with an unforced error.
We've said it before, but it is worth repeating: Mike Frerichs isn't ready for primetime. Mike Frerichs isn't ready to be the Illinois State Treasurer.
Exclusive Footage: Mike Frerichs Reaction To This Morning's News
We were just shared this exclusive dropcam footage of Treasurer's candidate Mike Frerichs as his campaign staff informed him that he screwed up again - in spectacular fashion:
Seems so very appropriate that when the Frerichs' campaign issues their 'hit' press release, they can't even get the sources cited right. This is, after all, the guy who had to re-do his 'launch' video because he lied about his own voting record in it.

Mike Frerichs' Campaign Mea Culpa On Infographic Errors?
We were just sent this footage of what appears to be a confession of the Mike Frerichs' campaign staffer who was responsible for the debacle that their Eco-Ag infographic has become.
What was first seen as a 'cleanly landed' position paper, has turned into a huge quagmire for the campaign. We can go into the timeline on another post, but the chaos this has caused is quite breathtaking.
At least, the Frerichs' staffer has an explanation: can you blame him after seeing this?

Exclusive Footage: Mike Frerichs Campaign HQ This Morning
We just received this exclusive footage of what appears to be a pizza delivery man who showed up at the wrong place at the wrong time. Here he is walking into the Mike Frerichs for Illinois State Treasurer office down in Champaign. (You remember the one? It is the one that they failed to pay property taxes on for seven+ years???)
With all the turmoil the Mike Frerichs for Illinois State Treasurer's campaign has gone through, we're - frankly - not surprised by the looks of the office.
We mean....last night must have been a doozy: trying to find all those errors in their own infographic?
Couple that with the shame they felt after posting a hilarious "not impressed" photo on their own Twitter handle?
It's gotta be like Lord of the Flies in there these days.

Exclusive Footage of Mike Frerichs Campaign HQ Right Now
We just were sent this amazing footage of the campaign staff down in Champaign working for State Senator Mike Frerichs on his Treasurer's campaign.
They were so pleased with themselves with the 'roll-out' of the "Eco-Ag" plan as they call it this afternoon. Then...suddenly...panic!
There are mistakes?!?! Again?!?

Breaking: Video Footage Of Pat Quinn's Patronage Hiring Process @ IDOT
We just got this image of the hiring process at IDOT under Illinois Governor Pat Quinn.
On the left side of the image, you'll see the turnstile - that's the proper, normal way to get a job with IDOT here in Illinois.
The guys walking on the right? They're part of Governor Pat Quinn's shady patronage hiring spree. They skirt the rules.
No big deal, right?
Voters won't mind that Pat Quinn padded the State payroll with his cronies and stooges from the political world, right?

The Foundation Is Crumbling: A Rough Six Months For Mike Frerichs
This week caps a very troubling six month performance for Illinois Candidate for State Treasurer Mike Frerichs. He has - without question - had the worst campaign rollout in modern Illinois campaign history.
Let's hit recap on Frerichs thus far:
Six months ago, Democrat Sen. Mike Frerichs launched his campaign for Treasurer. Let’s take a moment to look at some of the highlights from his campaign so far.
- January, 2014: Misleading from the beginning: Frerichs launched his campaign with a video touting his record of reform by ending legislative perks and voting to cut his own pay. Within 24 hours, he was forced to remove the video because he actually voted against ending legislative perks and voted formultiple pay raises. (Source: Capitol Fax, Video)
- April, 2014: Flip-Flop on merging the offices of Comptroller & Treasurer: After voting to merge the offices in 2011, Frerichs told WBBM News in April that he was against the merger. This flip-flop invited his hometown newspaper, the Champaign News-Gazette to write this about Frerichs:
“But [Frerichs] clearly doesn’t know what he really thinks, and, when candidates don’t know what they believe, they say whatever seems convenient at the moment.” (Source: Champaign News-Gazette, WBBM)
- May 2014: Frerichs supports unbalanced budget: Fox News Political Editor Mike Flannery described the budget this way: “I can’t recall seeing as irresponsible budget as was just approved… You’d think that the whole General Assembly was on medical marijuana when they were passing this thing. It’s grotesquely out of balance… They emptied their whole dirty bag of tricks to make it look balanced.” (Official Illinois Senate Records, Fox News)
- June 2014: Democrat Paul Vallas criticizes Frerichs budget, while Frerichs looks on. “We’ve had decades of bad practices: borrowing, deferring, not funding your pensions, not paying your bills, not being willing to make the tough decisions on the revenue side,” Vallas told about 160 Democrats including Mike Frerichs at a dinner at the Laborer’s Union Hall in Urbana.
- June 2014: Frerichs ducks debate with Cross: Democrat Senator Mike Frerichs ducked out of the first scheduled debate between himself and Republican Tom Cross. Frerichs had agreed to participate in the debate, hosted by Bill Cameron of WLS, but then ducked out.
- July 2014: Frerichs endorsed by IEA, but IEA struggles to explain why. The IEA spokesman struggled for an excruciatingly uncomfortable 25 seconds to explain why the IEA endorsed Frerichs and then touted his strength at raising taxes. Listen by clicking here.
- July 2014: Frerichs supports plan to end investment in Israel, touts Illinois-centric investment strategy: Over the last five months, Frerichs has delivered stinging criticism directed at the office of the Treasurer’s investment portfolio, specifically Illinois’ investment in other states and overseas. Frerichs countered with his own plan of exclusively Illinois investments, although he has not outlined how that plan would work or how it would meet the statutes restricting investments by the office of the Treasurer. One country singled out under Frerichs’ plan: Israel. The office of Treasurer currently has a total of $25 million invested in foreign bonds, all with the country of Israel.
“That’s really stupid.” (WLS Lauren Cohn, July 22, 2014)

5 Reactions From Around Illinois To The Week Mike Frerichs Is Having
This has been a legen - wait for it - dary week for the Illinois Treasurer's race. To capture all the dynamics of the race, we hit the streets and captured reactions from five interested parties including Congressional Candidate Ann Callis, Democrat supporters, State Senate President John Cullerton, Statehouse Reporters, and campaign donors.
In case you missed it, you can check out "5 Reactions to Mike Frerichs Crowing About "Rebuilding Gifford" (While Wearing A Suit) here on the Truth Team.
Here's how this week is playing out for Mike Frerichs - Democrat Candidate for Illinois Treasurer in five reaction shots:
1. Ann Callis who is running for Congress against Rodney Davis has already been sucked into the "Frerichs Vortex" once by co-hosting an event with Tax Hike Mike Frerichs. She's already been burned. But now? With all this stuff? The Israel stuff? The Walgreens stuff? The crazy stuff on social media? She's heading for the hills. She doesn't need her campaign pulled down by the "Frerichs Vortex".
2. Mike Frerichs supporters have been puttering along all summer. Thinking..."hey...our guy has a money advantage and we'll be fine come November." They are hit with a sudden realization that their guy is a trainwreck in July. Ut oh.
3. Mike Frerichs Chinaman John Cullerton can't believe what he sees in Capitol Fax. Give a guy a big check and tell him to go out and run statewide and this is how he repays you? Unreal.
4. The Statehouse Press Corps can't believe that it took this long to find the "Scott Lee Cohen or Alan Keyes" of this election cycle. Now...they have their man and it has been glorious thus far.
5. Mike's donors having seen the 'return on their investment' so far are jumping out the window. Why would they give this guy another dollar when they can make better bets on candidates who won't embarrass themselves and have the worst.summer.ever.

Now...this totally explains why they're making so many mistakes on Social Media, doesn't it?
Here's some exclusive footage that we were handed of the Frerichs for Illinois Treasurer campaign social media team in action:
Life Pro Tip for the Frerichs Campaign: Don't Drive and Tweet. It's dangerous. And you make mistakes.
