Representative Patti Bellock Convenes Power GOP Women Lunch

How 'bout this for a power lunch?

State Representative Patti Bellock convenes a birthday get-together with Representative Renee Kosel, Representative Sandy Pihos and former Reps Patty Lindner, Beth Coulson, JoAnn Osmond and Suzie Bassi.

Here's hoping the solved all the State's problems.  God knows they probably could have.

Candidate Facebook Weekend: Bellock, Bost, Topinka, Rauner, Sandack, Schimpf

Monday morning means a recap of candidate events and appearances from the weekend.  Without any delay, let's see what the candidates were up to this weekend in Illinois:

State Representative Patti Bellock hung out with Secretary of State Jesse White in the suburbs at a charity walk:

Congressional candidate Mike Bost was the Grand Marshall at the Apple Festival Parade in Murphysboro.  And..in Southern Illinois fashion, he was driving a tractor?!?

Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka was out at the Mexican Independence Day Parade in Chicago and met lots of folks:

Governor's candidate Bruce Rauner attended the Southwest Cook County Republican Picnic and fired up the troops:

State Representative Ron Sandack was marshalling the DuPage County faithful at his newly opened campaign headquarters.  In attendance were Bruce Rauner and his running mate Evelyn Sanguinetti, former State Senator Kirk Dillard and State Senator Mike Connelly:

Illinois Attorney General candidate Paul Schimpf went with the Illinois Federation of Republican Women Bus Tour at stops in Kankakee, Moline, Peoria, Murphysboro, Champaign and Naperville:

Candidate Facebook Weekend: Bellock, Davis, Manar, Unes, Senger, Rutherford

Just 50 some-odd days left before the General Election.  As we do every Monday morning, let's do a check-in of what the candidates/electeds were up to this weekend.

First, State Representative Patti Bellock - the great granddaughter (we think?!?) of Charles Comiskey spent some time hanging with a Ringo Starr impersonator.  We think that had something to do with Comiskey Park hosting the Beatles?

Congressman Rodney Davis took his football team out for a post-game celebration.  Good news!

The bad news?  He keeps taking his photos in portrait mode.  Turn the camera to the side, Congressman.  Take photos in landscape mode.  They'll look better here on FB.

Looks like State senator Andy Manar taught some Boy Scouts how to set a forest fire?!?

Congressional candidate Darlene Senger put together a nice crew for the Joliet Fiesta Patrias Parade.

State Representative Mike Unes turned out a big crowd for the Pekin Marigold Festival parade.

And....Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford spent some time at a senior home.
